I don’t know about you but there is something that shifted in me in turning 50-and that was my attitude! I committed myself to living a bolder life, a live life to its fullest attitude. Embracing change, following my passions, making these the best years of my life.
As women enter their 50s and beyond, cultivating healthy attitudes can contribute to their overall well-being and happiness. And it really can be the simple things in our day to day lives that can change our attitude.
Embrace self care: Take time to enjoy things that make you happy. It can be simple things like eat dessert first, a bath with soft music and candles, go to a matinee on a work day, treat yourself to a mani/pedi, have a charcuterie tray for dinner (that may just be me:))
Embrace change: Life is a journey of constant change and growth. Be open to new experiences and embrace opportunities-heck yes! Never stop learning or growing!
Maintain a positive outlook: Focus on the present moment and find joy in the simple pleasures of life. Practice positive self-talk and let go of negative thought patterns. I know this is easier said than done but with daily practice we CAN change those negative thoughts.
Celebrate your achievements: Reflect on your achievements daily-no matter how big or small.
