There are several ways to tailor your wine country experience. Whether you are celebrating a milestone birthday or anniversary, couples retreat, solo vacation or health retreat weekend the Sonoma and Napa Valleys offer a wide variety options.

Lets talk art and wine: you will never see a collection like the one at Donum Estate. “Founded in 2011, The Donum Collection is one of the world’s largest accessible private sculpture collections. More than 50 monumental works, including open-air sculptures.” Absolutely stunning and well worth the cost of the visit. Also visit Hess Estates and di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art

Choosing your wine tours: with more than 400 tasting rooms in both Sonoma and Napa it can be difficult and time consuming to choose which winery you should visit. Here are some ways to narrow your search: women owned wineries, varietal wineries like pinot noir or cabernet sauvignon or sparkling wines, biodynamic wines, boutique wineries. Or better yet, let us help you plan your trip. On another note 2-3 wineries per day is plenty!

Spa retreats: there are a plethora of resorts to choose from. Too numerous to include all of them here but to get you started; Sonoma-Kenwood Inn and Spa (small but luxurious), MacArthur Place (beautiful and well located, just blocks from the Sonoma Plaza). Napa- Meadowood Resort (one of my favorite resorts, ever! Be sure to check for amenities as I know this was damaged in the 2020 fire) Solage Resort Calistoga (another favorite-you just can’t go wrong with Auberge Resorts, pricey but worth it).

Activities to consider: bike tours, hot air balloons, walking tours, Napa Valley Wine Train, wine trolley, Segway tours, limo tours. Do not count on Uber/Lyft for wine tasting- wineries are too spread out and you cannot count on being picked up at a remote winery.
