KC’s Favorite Travel Accessories

I have mastered carry on only travel, no checked luggage. Why? I feel that carry on only leads to flexibility, convenience and if your flight is delayed or canceled you have your clothing/makeup etc with you.

And it is a few of these travel items that make this possible. That and the fact that I wear mostly black so you don’t notice any stains and most pieces are interchangeable:)

Carry on luggage

I love love my Away carry on suitcase.  Not nearly as expensive as a Rimowa  but equally as attractive and durable! I carefully role my items up as sets including lingerie,  (this leads to less unpacking if traveling to multiple cities) my socks are stored in shoes, and I line my days up in a row for easy access and reduced storage space.

Additional travel bags

Baggallini crossbody handbag. This comes in many colors and patterns and has several “safe keeping pockets” for money and valuables. Perfect to wear around town and fits easily in your carry on purse or briefcase for the plane. And less than $32.00 Fabric and zippers on this bag are made from recycled water bottles.

Baggalini backpack. I have owned my Baggallini backpack for over 4 years and although it is finally looking a little tattered I just can’t seem to part with it. Great for travel and great for every day.

Tumi carry on. This is my go to for EVERY vacation. Baggalini cross body bag into my Tumi carry on attached to my Away carry on. Boom good to go!

My go to makeup cosmetic travel bag. This is just $20.00. Zipped closure, multiple compartments, waterproof and leak proof and comes in many colors/patterns.

Travel clothing

Joggers. Run don’t walk to buy these. Wrinkle free, super cute, washable and oh so comfortable. Perfect for the plane or road trips! Buy them in several colors.

Cashmere wrap. I never travel without a wrap and this is my go to favorite-the quality, the price ($139.) so soft, so versatile and perfect for that overhead AC.

Sleepwear short pajama sets. I love my luxurious hotel robe but I also love to lounge around in my shorts pajama set. This set packs light and comes in many fabulous colors and prints.
