Born in 1964. In August of this year I will be celebrating my 60th birthday and all I can say at this point is my goodness how those years flew by. 20, 30 and even 40 not so fast but dang my 50’s are on like rocket speed. And I don’t say this with sadness I say this with fascination as I am still trying to grasp the idea that I am almost 60!
My friends are already asking me how should we celebrate and quite honestly I am not there yet. I am not sure if I want a big celebration, a fabulous trip or a good book and a cry on my sofa:)…we have months to decide.
But! I have decided to start the year with celebrating each week of every month of my 60th year until December31st.. Doing something every week thats new, something I have wanted to do but have not taken the time, sometimes challenging or just something in my neighborhood I have wanted to experience. It may be as simple as a new hike/book/ restaurant or as extreme as skydiving.
